ABZO Motors has launched its first electric motorcycle, the ABZO VS01, available at an initial price of ₹1.80 lakh (ex-showroom). The price of the motorcycle goes up to ₹2.22 lakh (ex-showroom). The new electric motorcycle, powered by a 72V 70 Ah lithium-ion battery pack, promises to run up to 180 kilometers on a single charge. This motorcycle emerges as a new player in the growing electric two-wheeler sector in India, which has been dominated by electric scooters like Ola, but has recently seen an increase in the number of electric motorcycles.
The ABZO VS01 electric motorcycle features a retro-themed cruiser design. It is available in four different color options: Imperial Red, Mountain White, Georgian Bay, and Black. The motorcycle comes with design elements such as LED headlights and taillamps, as well as a fully digital instrument cluster. It comes with 17-inch alloy wheels and has a wheelbase of 1,473mm, ground clearance of 158mm, and a seat height of 700mm.

The ABZO VS01 generates a maximum power of 8.44 bhp and a maximum torque of 190mm. The electric motorcycle has three different riding modes: Eco, Normal, and Sports. In these three riding modes, the speed ranges are 45 kilometers per hour, 65 kilometers per hour, and 85 kilometers per hour, respectively. With a fully charged battery, this electric motorcycle claims to run up to 180 kilometers.
